According to the date on her vet records, she will be 9 years old today.
My little old lady (tear)...
...my peanut butter eating buddy...
...who sometimes gets into trouble...
...but is always there to lend a hand, especially in the kitchen.
She is my little snow dog...
...and my little beach bunny.
She may not guard the house very well, but she keeps a close watch on her toys.
She has caused us a lot of stress, tested our patience and destroyed a lot of our belongings.
We have no idea what her early life was like, but we know that it left her somewhat broken. She became a part of our family 5 1/2 years ago and we have worked very hard to show her that she doesn't need to be afraid. That she will always have food. That she will always have a home. That she will always have us.
She makes us laugh. She brightens our days with her funny little face and her rare moments of affection. She may not be a typical dog, but she is our dog. Our baby girl. We wouldn't trade her for anything.
