Yet another dreaded visit to the scale!
And the outcome is: 199. Down 1 pound.
Not too bad. My goal was 2 pounds and I think if I had been stricter with my points, I would have made it. I spent this week really focusing on re-learning points values and getting used to tracking and portioning again. It's been a few years since I was really following Fat Club.
I also did not meet my exercise goal. I blame my TOM and The Beast for that. It may sound like a lame excuse, but it's a reality.
Today, now that I'm less bloaty and beasty, and it's gorgeous out, I walked for 30 minutes with the pup. And then did some yoga stretches to loosen things up. I plan to dust off my Slim in 6 dvd for this week. That really kicks my butt into shape.
So, I'm still struggling, but I'm getting there.
Goals for this week:
-Slim in 6 for 2 days.
-Yoga for 2 days.
-Stick to my points and portions strictly!
I know I can do it. For some reason, it's just been really hard for me to take those first steps. I think if I really make myself do it for one solid week, I will be able to continue it.
Don't give up on me just yet, people. It's been a huge help to know that you are all out there struggling too and all of your successes help motivate me to want to do this. Please keep it coming. :)
Can't wait to see how you are all doing...
No one's givin gup on you girl. But don't force me to take the whip out!
ReplyDeleteYou'll get there, and we're all rooting for you.
It's a struggle to get into a routine, but if you push yourself HARD, you'll get there. It's all about baby steps! Keep on, Keepin on! You got this :)
ReplyDeleteGood job on the 1 pound!
Thanks for the encouragement guys! I plan to really kick myself in the ass this week. I won't let you down!
