The Beast is changing things up.

Another week gone by. A week of ups and downs and ins and outs.
I don't really know what that means. I'm coming down from The Beast (what I like to call my little friend, the migraine) and my brain is fuzzy.
I started off the morning at 6am, getting ready to go to work. As I was walking to the door to let the pup out, I noticed everything was spinning.
Of course, I ignored it. I just figured I was still asleep as I am not really a morning person. If I had my way, I would never get out of bed before 10am.
Anydreamland, I stumbled around and got my shower and whatnot and things were still spinning. I started to get dressed and almost fell over as I was putting on my undies because I was so dizzy.
I sat for a bit and tried to let it pass. Then the nausea hit. I ran to the bathroom just in time. Waking up to dizziness and vomiting is only something I tolerate if I know I've done something to earn it. You know, like a few beer bongs and 7 shots of citron.
Anydrunkards, I had to suck it up and call out. First question from my boss: "Are you pregnant?" Yeah. Nice.
Anynowayinhellrightnow, I crashed for a few hours after visiting the porcelain goddess one more time. I awoke with no change and continued to feel this way for the rest of the day. The headache part of this particular migraine didn't really come on until mid day. Then, I had to wait to take meds until the dizziness passed. If I didn't, I probably would've been comatose.
So, it's been a fun day for me today.
Yay!
I was going to recap my week for you and gab about some other stuff, but I'm too tired. I'll be back tomorrow.
Later peeps.

  1. Oh no! I sometimes have migraines, but they are not nearly as bad as what yours sounds like! YIKES! Mine make me a little dizzy, but mostly my head just feels like it's about to explode and I just want to remain motionless in a dark, cool room. But throwing up I have never done during a migraine.

I'm sorry you are not feeling well! And I hope your migraine goes away as soon as possible and that you are back to normal tomorrow.

  3. I'm lucky I don't get the pukies when I get my migraines, just the head-in-the-vice feeling. I can't imagine having to puke when my head feels like that. Hope you start feeling better soon.

  4. Migraines blow goats. No, really: they do! ;) Hope you're feeling better ASAP.

P.S. I *hate* how the automatic assumption is that you're pregnant and not just, y'know, ILL. *CHIBI SMASH*
