Since I am way too lazy (and too cheap) to start the many, many redecorating projects in my home, I have decided to redecorate Girly Bitz. It's my way of fulfilling that nesting instinct without spending any money or getting paint on the dog or suffering any sort of hammer related injury. Or ladder related injury. If I recall correctly (and I'm usually not wrong about these things), I recently suffered such an injury at the hands of my betrothed.
On what was to be a quiet, peaceful day off for me, I was roped into holding the ladder so MB could fix the gutters. And by fix, I mean reattach. And by hold the ladder, I mean stand next to the ladder, bobbing and weaving to avoid the barrage of spiders falling from the ladder and attempting to land on me.
(And yes, baby, I was actually watching to make sure you didn't fall. Sort of. But, you didn't fall so there really should be no hard feelings.)
Apparently, we have a spider problem in the shed. (Baby, I'm trusting you to take care of that before any further ladder holding is required.)
So, anyway...somehow while being a super supportive girlfriend, I get whacked with the ladder. I don't know how this even happens as one end is firmly on the ground and the other end is not so firmly teetering against the unattached gutters. But, if it's going to happen, it's going to happen to me. It's okay. I survived.
And I learned that if I want to redecorate or do any home projects, I need to stick to a supervisory role. For safety's sake.
But since there is little chance of me suffering any injuries while blogging (I'm not completely ruling it out), I will focus my skills on Girly Bitz.
Since I am very indecisive, don't be surprised to see a different look every time you stop by.
If you see a decor that you like, please let me know. The one with the most positive feedback will win.
That is, until I get bored with my life and decide to change it again. Or change my life. Or maybe my hair. Blonde? Auburn? Purple?
Maybe I'll just stick to Girly Bitz for now.
