Diabetic, wouldn't take her sugar levels, ate the crap she wasn't supposed to daily, etc.. In the end it caught up to her and we lost her last June, but it's one of those things in life you can't change. I hope for your sake your mom smartens up and at least takes the meds once she has the stress test. Good luck with it all, you'll get through it!Alicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10981787729963020892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4352952808421444594.post-45885783874481348182010-03-12T11:01:43.442-05:002010-03-12T11:01:43.442-05:00I'm surprised you didn't take a nitro your...I'm surprised you didn't take a nitro yourself. Parents are more frustrating than children. You are a good daughter... breathe or you'll end up in the hospital. ;)ampbslhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13336777559526106519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4352952808421444594.post-71605909993132687342010-03-12T10:53:53.251-05:002010-03-12T10:53:53.251-05:00I could have written this post. Keep that in mind when dealing with her.

Ensure she takes the stress test. I would also speak with her doctor about getting an echo done. If she has a blockage, it may or may not show up in a stress test.

I'm not a nurse, I'm not a doctor. I did battle with the health care "system" for 4 years when my mother developed heart disease. I learned more than I ever wanted to know about heart disease.

I'll keep you in my thoughts.Dual Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13219625667306878645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4352952808421444594.post-4154545498785215362010-03-11T21:26:24.584-05:002010-03-11T21:26:24.584-05:00I'm sorry. I know it's totally fear that's causing her denial, but that makes it hard on everyone else.

Breathe.GunDivahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02965363044411500380noreply@blogger.com
